Patient Access

Booking An Appointment Online

Patients can request a Patient Access account via online registration for Patient Access. Please note, this is NOT the same as patients who wish to move to our practice and Pre-Register with us.

This initially provides limited Basic Patient Access (one appointment can be made or cancelled it out; at this stage, there is no access to repeat medication etc).

To gain full access, patients then need to bring photo –ID to verify their identity with them to show to the reception team. Full Patient Access is then available.

What is Patient Access?

With Patient Access, you can view, book and cancel appointments from home, work or on the move – wherever you can connect to the internet. What’s more, because Patient Access is a 24 hour online service – you can do this in your own time, day or night.

Plus, Patient Access is not just for booking GP appointments, you can also order repeat prescriptions.

How do I register?

Ask reception to provide you with an access code.

Is my information secure?

All information that is sent to your surgery via Patient Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information
