Fees for Non-NHS Work

The government pays for certain services to be done on the NHS, such as seeing patients when they are unwell, vaccinations, smear tests etc. However, there are things that are not covered, and therefore have a fee attached to them. We endeavour to complete the following within 7 working days where possible.

Fees for non-NHS work:

Certificates

  • Private Sick Note – £15:00
  • Passport form/photograph – £25:00
  • Private prescription for drugs not needed immediately by patient’s travelling abroad – £15:00
  • Freedom from infection certificate – £20:00
  • Vaccination certificate – £22:00
  • Holiday Cancellation certificate – £30:00
  • Fitness to Travel certificate – £25:00

Reports

  • OFSTED reports – £25:00
  • Private Insurance claim form (e.g BUPA) – £30:00
  • Sickness/accident benefit claim form – £25:00
  • Sickness/accident short certificate without exam – £15:00
  • Access to records and copies of reports up to – £50:00
  • Other reports for Employers/Insurers/Solicitors not described above usually – from £55
  • Medical Examinations and Reports
    • Medical examinations for employers, LGV, drivers, PCV, taxi fitness etc. – £100:00
    • Shorter report (without examination) – £55:00
  • Assessment of capacity:
    • Report/Form (without home visit) – £100:00
    • Report/Form (with home visit) – £175:00

Letters

  • letters requested by patients – from £15:00

Private Patients’ consultations

  • Single Appointment with GP (15min) – £50:00
  • Single Appointment with nurse (15min) – £40:00
  • Home Visit by GP (up to 30min) – £175:00
  • plus for each additional 10 mins after – £45:00

Non-NHS work is in addition to the practices’ normal work load. We endeavour to complete additional forms and letters as soon as possible. The reason we state 7 working days is because clinically urgent cases will always take priority.
